About This Service
I work with adults experiencing depression, depressive symptoms, grief, and related emotional challenges. Within a warm and collaborative therapeutic space, I draw on EMDR, CBT, and systemic relational approaches to address the underlying patterns contributing to distress — rather than focusing on symptoms alone.
Cancellation Policy
By signing the Client Consent Form, you acknowledge responsibility for payment of all services provided. Fee: $220 per 50-minute session Rebates: Clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan may receive a Medicare rebate of $98.85 for up to 10 sessions annually. Cancellations: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will incur the full session fee. To cancel or reschedule a session, please notify the clinician by email at ps.barbaraschnake@gmail.com. Ongoing appointments may be reviewed after two cancellations. Irregular attendance may result in the discontinuation of therapy arrangements.
